Behind Skytrace Ventures: Meet the Founder, David Clark
David L. Clark is a senior executive and a sought-after resource for early-stage and middle market companies seeking adept guidance in capital raising, revenue growth, investor relations, M&A, value creation, and liquidity alternatives.
Currently serving as President of Skytrace Ventures and Senior Partner Investment Banking at FNEX, a tech-enabled global investment banking firm. FNEX has a team of over 100 investment banking professionals which has facilitated transactions totaling more than $12 billion over the last few years. David specializes in private securities transactions, M&A, and strategic advisory for institutions, business owners, and family offices.
David’s contributions extend beyond his current roles. He is a pioneer in the entrepreneurial and economic development ecosystem. In 2010, he co-founded the Indiana Angel Network, fostering investment in early-stage companies, innovation and growth. David then joined Elevate Ventures as Venture Partner and member of the investment committee. During his tenure, he spearheaded the implementation and growth of Elevate Ventures’ entrepreneur-in-residence program. Following that experience, he established the Noyes Indiana Seed Fund and later founded boutique investment banking firm Skytrace Ventures in 2016.
David’s academic foundation includes a BS in Finance from Indiana University, complemented by FINRA Series Licenses SIE, 7, 63, and 79. Throughout his career, he has actively served on numerous boards of directors and advisory boards for startup and growth stage companies, contributing his expertise to their strategic growth and success.
